There are 35 kilometres of pistes for every level of fitness and ability between the Grawand mountain station at 3,212 metres and our hotel in Maso Corto. From the 8-kilometre valley run to child-friendly practice slopes at the Lazaun and Glocken lifts: Little skiers romp from piste to piste with experienced skiers and professional athletes.

Countless athletes use the conditions in Val Senales to prepare for the coming racing season. The Grawand slope offers ski pros around 40 training runs of various difficulty levels and lengths. Cross-country skiers and biathletes get fit for their races on what is probably Europe's highest trail.

Are there better conditions for ski tours than in Val Senales? If so they are hard to find. Numerous three-thousand-metre peaks can be climbed until early summer. The glacier cable car makes light work of the ascents and experienced mountain guides accompany you on weekly organised tours. The highlight for ski mountaineers is the Ötzi Glacier Tour to the site where the ice mummy was found.
